Battersea - Built: 1768
Built in 1768 by Colonel John Banister, first Mayor of Petersburg and signer of the Articles of Confederation, Batterses is a fine example of early Robert Morris style Palladian homes in the United States. An ongoing restoration is taking place and tours are offered by appointment.
