Branch House - Virginia Center for Architecture - Built: 1919
Designed by architect John Russell Pope, this Tudor Revival designed home was built for financier John Kerr Branch. The eleven level 27,000 square foot home with its long gallery, great hall, library and dining room provided ample space for displaying the Branch collection of European tapestries, textiles, and furnishings.
