Ellwood Manor
Built by William Jones, Ellwood has been a working farm since the 1790s. The house served as a Confederate hospital after the Battle of Chancellorsville in 1863 and as a headquarters for Union General G.K. Warren during the Battle of the Wilderness in 1864. The first floor has been restored to its 1864 appearance. Much of the house depicts the time when General Warren occupied the house.
