Thomas Everard House (Colonial Williamsburg) - Built: 1718
One of oldest houses in Williamsburg, the home tells the rags-to-riches story of Thomas Everard, who arrived from London as an orphaned apprentice and became a wealthy planter and civic leader. Furnished with 18th-century antiques, the house has been meticulously restored to its early appearance. The kitchen and smokehouse are also original buildings.
