Edgewood Plantation - Built: 1849
Once part of the Berkeley Plantation, the house is an excellent example of fine Carpenter's Gothic architecure. It served as a church, post office, telephone exchange, restaurant, nursing home and signal post for the Confederates to spy on McClellan's Army.
